TCIM continually upgrades its technology to meet
clients' increasingly complex business requirements. Outlined below
is the technology infrastructure that currently resides in our Customer
InterAction Centers. TCIM partners with world-class companies to
provide a state-of-the-art infrastructure (advanced hardware platforms
and software) needed to support client programs.
Network Environment
TCIM's Wide Area Network (WAN) for both data
and voice is made up of T-1 frame relay links,
and advanced secure Virtual Private Networks (VPN's) connected to all Customer
InterAction Center locations. Multiple T-1s or DS-3s are used for
our sophisticated voice network. Local Area Networks are in place
at all locations. Our primary network protocols include TCP-IP (10/100/1000
Megabit) and IPX/SPX. The computer-networking environment consists
of Microsoft Windows Systems connected with Cisco routers.
Dell and HP/Compaq high-end servers utilize multiple processor power
where needed. The average server has a minimum of 500 Megabytes
of RAM and is RAID 5-equipped.
Workstation Environment
TCIM's workstations are Internet-enabled, with
Pentium processors running on a Microsoft Windows desktop environment,
and can be equipped with Microsoft Office software if required.
TCIM utilizes Microsoft and Macromedia development tools for Web
and browser based applications, as well as additional supporting
software to assist development and enhance system performance.
